SAS cable External SAS connector 10. Install the air baffle (see "Installing the air baffle" on page 30); then, route the cable through the slot in the side of the air baffle. Important: Make sure the SAS cable doesn't interfere with an adapter installed in the riser-card assembly. If you have other devices to install or remove, do so now. Otherwise go to "Completing the installation" on page 61. Installing the Remote Supervisor Adapter II SlimLine An optional Remote Supervisor Adapter II SlimLine can be installed only in a dedicated connector on the riser card. After the Remote Supervisor Adapter II SlimLine is installed, the systems-management Ethernet port on the rear of the server is active. Note: Earlier versions of the Remote Supervisor Adapter II SlimLine might not work in this server.
