CS-R30 Update information Thank you for using the Icom Download Service. Update the cloning software as shown below. This software can read the data saved before the update, and also read to/ write from earlier versions of the IC-R30 firmware. IMPORTANT! This update is only for the CS-R30 users, and will update the CS-R30 on your PC. Refer to the CS-R30 INSTRUCTIONS for details. ■■Updating the CS-R30 These instructions are based on using Microsoft® Windows® 10. When updating the software, confirm Windows has completed its startup, and then log in as the administrator. 1. Open the unzipped folder. 2. Confirm no other applications are running. 3. Double-click "Update.exe." LLIf "User Account Control" is displayed, click to continue. 4. "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for CS-R30" is displayed. Click >. 5. After the update has completed, "Update Complete" is displayed. Click . Click 6. An updated 'CS-R30' group is created on the menu, and a Click shortcut icon is created on the desktop.
