CS-R8600 Update information- Revision 1.10 Thank you for using the Icom Download Service. The Revision 1.10 Updater will add the following setting item to the CS-R8600 cloning software. This software can read the data saved before the update, or also read to/write from the version 1.02 or earlier IC-R8600 firmware. DDFast Unmute Selects the mute state for the Encryption function in the NXDN mode. This function releases the mute without checking whether or not the encryption key matches. If you want to prevent cutting off the beginning of the received audio, set to "ON." IMPORTANT! This update is only for the CS-R8600 users, and will update the CS-R8600 on your PC. To reflect the setting of the additional item, the IC-R8600 firmware needs to be updated to 1.10 or later. ■■ Updating the CS-R8600 These instructions are based on using Microsoft® Windows® 10. NOTE: ••When updating the CS-R8600, log in as the administrator. ••Confirm Windows has completed its start-up, and no other applications are running. 1. Open the unzipped folder. 2. Double-click "Update.exe." LLIf "User Account Control" is displayed, click to continue. 3. "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for CS-R8600" is displayed. Click >. 4. After the update is completed, "Update Complete" is displayed. Click . Click Next > Click Finish 5. The updated program group 'CS-R8600' is created on the menu, and the updated 'CS-R8600' shortcut icon is created on the desktop.
