INFORMATION IC-R8600 Version 1.10 The following features are now changed in, or added to, the IC-R8600. Added : New functions and/or menus have been added. Changed : Some operations, items, and/or options that already exist have been changed. Added New Set mode items The following items are added to the Set mode. MENU » SET > Digital Set Fast Unmute (NXDN) (Default: ON) Selects the mute state for the Encryption function in the NXDN mode. This function releases the mute without confirming whether or not the encryption key matches. ••OFF: Releases the mute after confirming the encryption key matches. ••ON: Releases the mute without confirming whether or not the encryption key matches. LLIf you want to prevent cutting off the beginning of the received audio, set to "ON." MENU » SET > SD Card Save Form (Default: Now Ver) Selects the save version format to save the Memory channels, the Set mode settings, and so on to an SD card. ••Now Ver: Saves the setting data in the current version format. ••Old Ver (1.00 - 1.02): S aves the setting data in the older version format (1.00 - 1.02). LLIf you select "Old Ver (1.00 - 1.02)," a function that is added when the receiver's firmware format is updated will not be saved.
