3. Antenna position • Hold the transceiver with its antenna straight up and pointing to the sky. • If you hold the transceiver with a chest harness, make sure the antenna is pointing to the sky. Otherwise, you may lose the signal from the satellite. • When you transmit and hold the transceiver in your hand, always keep it in front of your face.
