You must enter the password to set the parental rating level and to view DVDs with a locked rating level. NTSC Disc Menu-Selects the language for the DVD menu if the DVD was recorded with multiple menu languages. Parental-Sets the parental control rating level. When you select a level, DVDs recorded with the selected rating level or a higher rating level cannot be viewed. You can select: • KIDSAFE •G • PG • PG 13 • PGR •R • NC 17 • ADULT NTSC 2 Use the number buttons on the remote control to enter the old password in the Old Password box. The default password is (0000). If you forget your password, enter 9999. 3 Press T to move to the New Password box, then enter a new password. 4 Press T to move to the Confirm PWD box, then enter the new password again.
