You cannot use the battery to power your clock radio. If your clock radio does not save your settings, you may need to replace the battery. To install the battery: 1 Slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow, then remove the cover. 2 Insert a 9V (6F22/006/PP3) battery into the battery compartment. 3 Slide the battery cover closed. Antenna Your clock radio has a built-in antenna for AM radio. To improve reception, change the position of your clock radio. You clock radio also has a flexible wire antenna on the back for FM radio. Battery
Your clock radio has a backup battery that stores your settings. You cannot
use the battery to power your clock radio.
If your clock radio does not save your settings, you may need to replace the
battery.
To install the battery:

Slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow, then remove the
cover.

Insert a 9V (6F22/006/PP3) battery into the battery compartment.

Antenna
Your clock radio has a built-in antenna for AM radio. To improve reception,
change the position of your clock radio.
You clock radio also has a flexible wire antenna on the back for FM radio.
Fully extend this antenna for the best reception.
