You cannot use the battery to power your clock radio. If your clock radio does not save your settings, you may need to replace the battery. To install the battery: 1 Slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow, then remove the cover. 2 Insert a 9V (6F22/006/PP3) battery into the battery compartment. 3 Slide the battery cover closed. Antenna Your clock radio has a built-in antenna for AM radio. To improve reception, change the position of your clock radio. You clock radio also has a flexible wire antenna on the back for FM radio.
