To install the battery 1 Open the battery compartment on the back of the radio and insert the 9V battery (included). Make sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the batteries align with the + and - symbols in the battery compartment. 2 Replace the battery compartment door, then plug the power cord into an AC power outlet. 1 VOLUME dial 2 HIGH/MIDDLE/LOW DIMMER: 3 ON/OFF/RADIO ALARM/BUZZ ALARM 4 TIME button 5 HOUR button 6 MIN button 7 SNOOZE button (time interval 8-9 minutes) 8 ALARM button 9 SLEEP button 10 PM indicator 11 ALARM indicator 12 Main display 13 Display panel 14 Frequency scale 15 TUNING dial 16 FM/AM switch 17 Battery compartment 18 Speaker 19 FM antenna 20 AC plug Using your clock radio When you install the battery and plug in your clock radio, the clock is turned on. Slide the ON/OFF/RADIO ALARM/BUZZER ALARM switch: • To the ON position to turn your clock radio on. • To the OFF position to turn your clock radio off. • To the RADIO ALARM position to activate the radio alarm. • To the BUZZER ALARM position to activate the buzzer alarm. To set the time: 1 Press and hold the TIME button, then press the HOUR button to set the hour. 2 Press and hold the TIME button, then press the MIN button to set the minute. To set the alarm: 1 Press and hold the ALARM button, then press the HOUR button to set the hour, then press the MIN button to set the minute. 2 Release the ALARM button. To wake to music: Slide the ON/OFF/RADIO ALARM/BUZZ ALARM to the RADIO ALARM position. To wake to an alarm: Slide the ON/OFF/RADIO ALARM/BUZZ ALARM to the BUZZ ALARM position. To use the radio: 1 Slide the ON/OFF/RADIO ALARM/BUZZER ALARM switch to the ON position. 2 Slide the FM/AM switch to the radio band of your choice (AM or FM). 3 Turn the TUNING dial to tune to a station. To set the sleep timer: 1 Slide the ON/OFF/RADIO ALARM/BUZZER ALARM switch to the OFF or RADIO ALARM position. 2 Press and hold the SLEEP button, then press the HOUR and/or MIN button to set the sleep timer. 3 Release the SLEEP button. The radio will turn off after the interval you set. 4 Press the SNOOZE button to cancel the sleep timer setting.
