Attaching to a car window or dashboard 1 Clean the window or dashboard with a clean cloth. 2 Remove the clear film from the suction cup. 4 Remove the protective film from the metal plate, then press the adhesive side of the plate to the back of your GPS or mobile device. 6 Loosen the adjustment knob, adjust the viewing angle, then fully tighten the knob. Removing your GPS Hold your GPS or mobile device securely, then pull it away from your mount. The metal plate stays attached to your GPS or mobile device. 3 Release the suction lever on your magnetic mount, position the suction cup in the window or dashboard location you want, then press the lever down.
