Using anti-shock protection • While using the anti-shock (ESP) protection, battery consumption is higher because memory circuitry is used. Also, the CD rotates faster than normal. • When the digital anti-shock function is switched ON or OFF, sound is interrupted. This is normal. • Conditions such as dirty, scratched, or warped CDs may cause skipping or noise that affects performance of the anti-shock (ESP) system.
