Pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button I>I begins RANDOM PLAY and the flashing stops. Using Search Locating a track • To go back to the beginning of the current or a previous track, press I>I repeatedly. Locating a specific segment in a track • To search backward at high speed, press and hold II. Low level audio will be heard during the search process to assist in locating the correct point in the track. Using anti-shock protection • While using the anti-shock (ESP) protection, battery consumption is higher because memory circuitry is used. Also, the CD rotates faster than normal. • When the digital anti-shock function is switched ON or OFF, sound is interrupted. This is normal. • Conditions such as dirty, scratched, or warped CDs may cause skipping or noise that affects performance of the anti-shock (ESP) system. Skip-free anti-shock protection greatly reduces or eliminates skipping during active use. 14 www.Insignia-Products.com
