Intel Desktop Board DG33BU Technical Product Specification 1.13.1.2 ENERGY STAR* In 2007, the US Department of Energy and the US Environmental Protection Agency revised the ENERGY STAR* requirements. Intel has worked directly with these two governmental agencies to define the new requirements. Currently Intel Desktop Boards meet the new requirements. Setting this option to Power On will enable a wake-up event from LAN in the S5 state. NOTE The use of these wake-up events from an ACPI state requires an operating system that provides full ACPI support. In addition, software, drivers, and peripherals must fully support ACPI wake events. 32
