Intel Desktop Board DH77DF Technical Product Specification 1.8 Audio Subsystem The board supports Intel HD Audio via the Realtek ALC898 audio codec. The audio subsystem supports the following features: • Advanced jack sense for the back panel audio jacks that enables the audio codec to recognize the device that is connected to an audio port. • Digital-to-Analog Converters (DAC) with 110 dB SNR (A-weighting) and Analog-toDigital Converters (ADC) with 104 dB SNR (A-weighting). • Ten DAC channels support 16/20/24-bit PCM format for 7.1 channel sound playback, plus two channels of concurrent independent stereo sound output (multiple streaming) through the front panel output. • Three stereo ADCs support 16/20/24-bit PCM format, multiple stereo recording • Microphone Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), Noise Suppression (NS), and Beam Forming (BF) technology for voice applications. • Windows 7 Ultimate certification.
