Intel Desktop Board DP43BFL Product Guide PME# Signal Wake-up Support When the PME# signal on the PCI bus is asserted, the computer wakes from an ACPI S1, S3, S4, or S5 state. WAKE# Signal Wake-up Support When the WAKE# signal on the PCI Express bus is asserted, the computer wakes from an ACPI S1, S3, S4, or S5 state. Wake from PS/2 Activity on the PS/2 ports wakes the computer from an ACPI S1 or S3 state. Speaker A piezoelectric speaker is mounted on the Desktop Board. The speaker provides audible error code (beep code) information during the Power-On Self-Test (POST). Battery A battery on the Desktop Board keeps the values in CMOS RAM and the clock current when the computer is turned off. Go to page 55 for instructions on how to replace the battery. Real-Time Clock The Desktop Board has a time-of-day clock and 100-year calendar. The battery on the Desktop Board keeps the clock current when the computer is turned off. 26
