Intel® Server Chassis SR1530 Intel® Server System SR1530AH Power Sub-System 2.9 AC Line Transient Specification AC line transient conditions shall be defined as "sag" and "surge" conditions. "Sag" conditions are also commonly referred to as "brownout"; these conditions will be defined as the AC line voltage dropping below nominal voltage conditions. "Surge" will be defined to refer to conditions when the AC line voltage rises above nominal voltage. The power supply shall meet the requirements under the following AC line sag and surge conditions. Table 10. AC Line Sag Transient Performance Duration Continuous 0 to 1 AC cycle > 1 AC cycle Sag 10% 95% AC Line Sag Operating AC Voltage Line Frequency Nominal AC Voltage ranges 50/60Hz Nominal AC Voltage ranges 50/60Hz >30% Nominal AC Voltage ranges 50/60Hz Performance Criteria No loss of function or performance No loss of function or performance Loss of function acceptable, self recoverable Duration Continuous 0 to ½ AC cycle Table 11. AC Line Surge Transient Performance Surge 10% 30% AC Line Surge Operating AC Voltage Line Frequency Nominal AC Voltages 50/60Hz Mid-point of nominal AC Voltages 50/60Hz Performance Criteria No loss of function or performance No loss of function or performance 2.10 Susceptibility The power supply meets the following electrical immunity requirements when connected to a cage with an external EMI filter which meets the criteria defined in the SSI document EPS Power Supply Specification. For further information on Intel standards please request a copy of the Intel Environmental Standards Handbook. Level A B C Table 12. Performance Criteria Description The apparatus continues to operate as intended. No degradation of performance. The apparatus continues to operate as intended. No degradation of performance beyond spec limits. Temporary loss of function is allowed provided the function is self-recoverable or can be restored by the operation of the controls.
