11 OPTIONS 11.3 Wheel Lock Extension Handle ƽ WARNING If the wheelchair is equipped with push to lock wheel locks, elevating legrests, and wheel lock extension handles, the wheel lock extension handles MUST be removed before swinging the elevating legrests to the side, otherwise injury or damage may result. Interference between the top of the elevating legrest and the wheel lock extension handle causes the wheel lock to disengage. 1. Remove the existing rubber tip from the wheel lock handle. Discard rubber tip. 2. Secure the wheel lock extension handle to the wheelchair frame by wrapping the elastic cord around the wheelchair frame. 3. Pass the wheel lock extension handle through the loop end of the elastic cord. 4. Slide the wheel lock extension handle on to the wheel lock handle. 5. Repeat STEPS 1-4 for the remaining wheel lock. Wheel Lock Extension Handle
1.
Remove the existing rubber tip from the wheel lock handle. Discard rubber tip.
2.
Secure the wheel lock extension handle to the wheelchair frame by wrapping the elastic cord around the wheelchair frame.
3.
Pass the wheel lock extension handle through the loop end of the elastic cord.
4.
Slide the wheel lock extension handle on to the wheel lock handle.
5.
Repeat STEPS 1-4 for the remaining wheel lock.
