4 EMC Information 4 EMC INFORMATION 4.1 Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Information Medical Electrical Equipment needs special precautions regarding EMC and needs to be installed and put into service according to the EMC information provided in this manual. Radio Frequency Interference WARNING! Risk of Injury or Damage Electronic equipment may be influenced by Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). - Caution should be exercised with regard to the use of portable communications equipment in the area around such equipment. - If RFI causes erratic behavior, unplug the electric bed IMMEDIATELY. Leave unplugged while transmission is in progress. WARNING! Risk of Injury or Damage The use of accessories, transducers, cords and cables other than those specified by the manufacturer, may result in increased emissions or decreased immunity of this bed. - This bed should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other equipment. If adjacent or stacked use with other equipment is necessary, this bed should be observed to verify normal operation in the configuration in which it will be used.
