9 TROUBLESHOOTING 9 Troubleshooting SYMPTOMS Patient lift feels loose. Casters/Brakes noisy or stiff. Noisy or dry sound from pivots. Oil leaking from hydraulics. FAULTS Mast/Base joint loose. Tie - Rods are loose. Fluff or debris in bearings. Needs lubrication. Hydraulic pump in need of replacement. Manual / Hydraulic pump fails to lift when pumped. Control Valve not fully closed. Manual / Hydraulic pump in need of replacement. SOLUTION Refer to Assembly on page 15. Refer to Maintaining the Base Adjustment on page 48. Refer to Replacing Casters/Forks on page 48. Refer to Lubricating the Lift on page 43. Refer to Replacing a Manual/Hydraulic Pump on page 44 and Replacing the Electric Actuator on page 45. Contact your Dealer. Close Control Valve. Refer to Replacing a Manual/Hydraulic Pump on page 44 and Replacing the Electric Actuator on page 45. Contact your Dealer. Check connections. Manual/Electric Portable Patient Lift 38 Part No. 1078987
