PROPRIETARY SLIPSTREAM PORT TECHNOLOGY The double-flared shape of the oversized port is JBL GT5 enclosures deliver best-in-class performance for those looking to add bump in the trunk. Three loaded enclosures, the GT5-1202BP, GT5-1202BR and GT5-2402BR, are available in the GT5 lineup. precisely calculated, efficiently eliminating port noise. Even at high SPL, airflow through the port will remain uniform, offering better low-frequency extension and woofer protection. PROGRESSIVE SPIDER Each GT5 enclosure features a progressive spider, which offers better control at the excursion limits than the linear spider commonly used by competitors. This progressive spider reduces distortion at high output levels. INCREASED RELIABILITY The vented polepieces and motor structure provide additional cooling. In combination with the rubbercoated tinsel leads, this results in much better longterm reliability.
