ATTENTION ● Do not operate the device at tem- peratures below 0 °C. ● Never use the device outdoors at low temperatures. Dry vacuum cleaner ṇ WARNING ● The device is only intended for dry cleaning. Only use the device outdoors during wet conditions if it is expressly designated for this use. Wet vacuum cleaner ṇ CAUTION ● Only vacuum up liquid media up to a temperature of 45 °C. ATTENTION ● Only use the device for vacuuming coolants and lubricants with the corresponding equipment. Devices with dust class L, M and H ƽ DANGER ● Danger from dust that is harmful to your health. Wear a breathing protection mask of class P2 or higher and disposable clothing when performing maintenance work (e.g. filter change). ● Only trained personnel are permitted to use the device and the substances for which it is to be used, including the safe procedure for disposing of the vacuumed material. ● An air exchange rate L must be present in the room when the exhaust gas is returned into the room. Emptying and maintenance, including removal of the dust bag, may only be performed by technical specialists wearing suitable personal protective equipment. ● Do not operate the device without the complete filtration system. ● Observe the applicable safety instructions for the materials being vacuumed. ● Apply the parking brake at the steering roller to ensure a secure footing for the device. The device may move uncontrollably if the parking brake is open. ● For servicing performed by the user, the device must be disassembled, cleaned and maintained only to the degree that this is possible without presenting a danger to the maintenance personnel and other persons. Suitable precautionary measures include detoxification before disassembly. Make provisions for local forced ventilation at the location where the device is to be disassembled, for cleaning the maintenance surface and to ensure adequate protection for the personnel. ● The exterior of the device should be detoxified by vacuuming and wiped clean, or treated with sealant before being removed from the hazardous area. All unit parts must be regarded as contaminated when they are taken from the hazardous area. Suitable measures must be taken to prevent distribution of the dust. ● All contaminated objects resulting from maintenance and repair work that cannot be satisfactorily cleaned must be correctly disposed of. Such objects must be disposed of in sealed bags in accordance with the applicable regulations for the disposal of this type of waste. ● Dust classes M and H only: Close the suction opening with the plug when transporting and servicing the device. ● Dust class H only: The effectiveness of the filtration of the device can be tested by the test method as specified in EN 60 3352-69 22.AA.201.2. This test must be carried out at least annually or more frequently if specified in national requirements. If the test result is negative, repeat the test with a new flat fold filter. ṇ WARNING ● Safety devices providing hazard protection must be checked for correct safety-related functionality at least annually by the manufacturer or an appropriately instruction person, e.g. absence of leaks, filter damage, functionality of the monitoring devices (dust classes M and H only). Devices with rotating brushes ƽ DANGER ● Risk of electric shock. Never run over the mains connection or the extension cable with the rotating brushes of the suction head. ṇ CAUTION ● Unsuitable brushes endanger your safety. Only use the brushes supplied with the device or brushes recommended in the operating instructions. Devices with pneumatic tyres ṇ CAUTION ● Never exceed the maximum per- missible tyre filling pressure. The tyre filling pressure needs to be read on the tyre and if necessary on the wheel rim. If these values differ, use the smaller value. ● Make sure that the pressure reducer is set correctly on the compressor before setting the tyre filling pressure. ● In case of devices with screw-in wheel rims: Make sure that all wheel rim bolts are tightened securely before setting the tyre filling pressure. Care and service ṇ WARNING ● Prior to cleaning, maintenance and replacement of parts, the device needs to be switched off and the mains plug or battery pack removed. Switch the device off before changing over to another function. ṇ CAUTION ● Repairs may only be carried out by approved customer service sites or staff qualified in this area who are familiar with all relevant safety instructions. ● Clean the water lever limit facility regularly, checking for any signs of damage. ATTENTION ● Pay attention to the safety inspec- tion for mobile devices for industrial use in accordance with the locally applicable regulations ● Short-circuits or other damage. Do not clean the device with a hose or high-pressure water jet. Devices with electrical connections in the suction hose ƽ DANGER ● Risk of electric shock. Never im- merse the hose in water for cleaning. Accessories and spare parts ṇ CAUTION ● Only use accessories and spare parts which are approved by the manufacturer. Only original accessories and original spare parts ensure that the appliance will run fault-free and safely. Transport ṇ CAUTION ● Shut the motor down prior to transportation. Secure the device, taking into account its weight. See chapter Technical data in the operating instructions. 6 English
