You may want Sears Parts & RepairCenter to perform this annual checkup. (Cost of the inspection is the owner's responsibility.) OR If you are familiar with electricalappliances and their functions, listed below are instructionswhich would allow you to perform the inspectionand maintenancefor yourself. ElectricalShock Hazard • Disconnectpower supply cord from receptacle beforeperformingany maintenance. • Be careful when cleaningthe coils. Fins are sharp. Failureto follow the above precautionscould result in electricalshock or personalinjury. Cleaning the front case, bucket and cabinet Clean the front case and the cabinetwith a soft cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. Clean the grille with a vacuumattachmentor brush. Do not use bleach or abrasives. Cleaning the air filter 1. Removewater bucketfrom the cabinet. Pull out the air filter as shown above. 2. Wash air filter with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry it. Replaceit in the unit. Cleaning the coil 1. RemoveFront Grille from the cabinet as shown. 2. Use a small brushto gently clean the coils as shown. Clean the front case and the cabinetwith a soft
cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent.
Clean the grille with a vacuumattachmentor brush.

filter
1.
Removewater bucketfrom the cabinet.
Pull out the air filter as shown above.
2.
Wash air filter with warm water and a mild
detergent. Rinse and dry it.
Replaceit in the unit.
