Metal Mesh Speaker Grilles Installation Instructions NOTE: This kit is sold as factory replacement grilles only. Do not use this kit to adapt another brand of 5" x 7" speakers to your bike. Damage to the inner fairing will occur if factory (OE) screws are used to attach the plastic grille rings to your fairing. Installation procedure NOTE: KENWOOD CA-GRL98RG grilles are made up of a plastic "ring" and stamped metal mesh. The mesh is secured to the plastic ring with double-sided adhesive. 1. Carefully separate the metal mesh from the plastic ring. 2. With the current speakers and grilles from your bike removed, separate the grille from the ring currently on your bike. NOTE: The KENWOOD CA-GRL98RG grilles will have enough "tack" from the double-sided adhesive to stick to your existing grille frame. 3. Re-install the grille-frames with the mesh attached and then re-install your speakers. Installation procedure
NOTE:
KENWOOD CA-GRL98RG grilles are made up of a plastic “ring” and stamped metal
mesh. The mesh is secured to the plastic ring with double-sided adhesive.
1.
Carefully separate the metal mesh from the plastic ring.
2.
With the current speakers and grilles from your bike removed, separate the grille from
the ring currently on your bike.
NOTE: The KENWOOD CA-GRL98RG grilles will have enough “tack” from the double-sided
adhesive to stick to your existing grille frame.
3.
Re-install the grille-frames with the mesh attached and then re-install your speakers.
