Names of each parts There are two types of measurement methods for this product. • "Straw method" using accessory attachments and commercially available straws. • "Open blow method" that blows directly onto the product. How to attach the strap (accessories) 1 Pass the longer string through the strap port of the product body and tie it. 2 Attach the shorter string to the strap hole of the attachment. Strap Port Digital Display ᶃ ᶄ Strap Attachment Port How to insert the attachment (accessory) 1 Slide the sensor cover upward. 2 Insert the attachment into the blowing part. Blowing Part ᶃ ᶄ Display Panel Battery Cover How to remove the battery cover Lightly press the A part 1 Turn the product body upside down and hold it with both hands. 2 Lightly press the A part with your thumb, and slide it upward while firmly pressing the B part with your other thumb. Firmly press the B part Battery Display and red LEDs flash together when the battery is dead. When the display appears, replace the battery. Error Display If the measurement fails (accurate measurement was not performed), "---" is displayed Slide How to use 1 Remove the battery cover and set ⾚ ⾜ the battery. Carefully set ¢ ¤ and attach the battery cover. Be sure to set the direction of the battery ¢ ¤ pole correctly. 2 Slide the sensor cover upward to insert the attachment. • For how to attach the attachment, see the names of each parts. • Measurement by direct blowing is also possible without using an attachment. 3 Insert a commercially available straw and press the ON / OFF switch on the side of the main unit to turn on the power. The countdown of the digital display starts at the same time as the "STANDBY" of the operation display blinks. (14 • 13 • 12 • • •1 or 6 • 5 • 4 1) Commercially available straw ON • Only use a straw with a diameter of 4 to 6 mm. • When measuring by direct blowing, do not attach an attachment or a commercially available straw, and turn on the power as it is with the sensor cover slid upward. 4 Blow your breath into the product. The "GO" lamp flashes, and at the same time as the beeping sound, blow into the inserted straw for "4 seconds". Please continue blowing until you hear next beep. ◎ Keep blowing stably for about 4 seconds. If you blow all at once, your breath will not last for 4 seconds. Blow with strength (expiratory volume) that keeps you breathing for 4 seconds. 1st BEEP 2nd BEEP Blow "Fuuuu" for 4 seconds In the case of direct injection, use the following method. 1cm Blow "Huhhhh" for 4 seconds In case of measurement error 5 When the sensor detects it, "CHECK" of the operation display blinks and measurement starts. 6 When the measurement is completed, "END" of the operation display blinks to display the measured value. The green LED lights up when the measured value is 0.00 mg/L. The red LED lights up when the measured value is 0.05 mg/L or more. LED lights up 7 After measuring, press the power button to "OFF". Remove the attachment and return the sensor cover to the bottom. If the power supply is left in the "ON" state, it will automatically turn the power supply "OFF" after 1 minute. OFF If the measurement cannot be performed accurately, an electronic sound is heard three times, the red LED is lit, and the measurement display indicates "---". Press the power button to manually switch "OFF" the power. Press the power button again to turn the power to "ON" and remeasure. • Is the sensor cover open? • Are you blowing for 4 seconds? • Is the straw inserted firmly? • Is the measurement conducted in a place where there is no odor or gas around?
