30 Preparation ÷ Register music type. £ ÷ Check that the unit is in the normal play TRACK mode. # Disc search (DISC SEARCH mode) Searching the music type (M.TYPE SEARCH mode) The discs registered in the specified music type can be searched in sequence. 1 Activate the music type search mode. 1 Press the MODE key. MODE ÷ When the MODE key is pressed during M.TYPE SEARCH mode, the M.TYPE SEARCH mode is cancelled. 2 Select "DISC SEARCH". DISC SKIP DOWN UP SET 3 Select "M. TYPE SEARCH". DISC SKIP DOWN UP SET 2 Select the music type to be searched. DISC SKIP DOWN UP SET Previous type Next type To search the next disc DISC SKIP DOWN UP Each press switches the modes as follows: 1 MUSIC TYPE 2 USER FILE 3 DISC SEARCH 4 TITLE INPUT 5 ALL DATA READ 6 ALL INFORMATION The display flashes. DISCCSEARCHNDOM The display flashes. M.TYPE.SEARCH M Each press switches the modes as follows: Adult Contemporary → Alternative Rock → Children's Music → Classical → Contemporary Christian → Country → Dance → Easy Listening → Folk → Gospel → Hip Hop → Jazz → Latin → Musical → New Age → Opera → Operetta → Pop Music → RAP → Reggae → Rock Music → Rhythm & Blues → Sound Effects → Sound Track → Spoken Word → World Music..... ÷ If there is no disc registered in the specified music type, "NO ENTRY" will be displayed. To quit M.TYPE SEARCH mode Press the MODE key. To play the searched disc SET If disc is searched while the door panel is left open, the carousel rotates to move the search target disc on the front. If the search target disc Note is being played, "DXXX BUSY!" is displayed.
