General TUNER Disc in general If there seems to be a problem Symptom No sound comes out of the speakers. No picture is displayed on the screen. The unit does not work at all. The remote controller does not work. AME automatic presetting does not work. Static noise while listening to the radio. • Recordable/Rewritable discs cannot be played back. • Tracks on the Recordable/ Rewritable discs cannot be skipped. Playback does not start. No picture appears on the external monitor. Disc cannot be played back. Remedy/Cause • Adjust the volume to the optimum level. • Check the cords and connections. Turn on the screen. (☞ page 9) Reset the unit. (☞ page 3) Replace the battery. Store stations manually. (☞ page 26) Connect the antenna firmly. • Insert a finalized disc. • Finalize the discs with the component which you used for recording. The format of files is not supported by the unit. • Connect the video cord correctly. • Select the correct input on the external monitor. • Record the tracks using a compliant application on the appropriate discs.
