Function of DPX-U6120 DSP Setup Car Type Fine Adjustments Adjusting fine tuning of the speaker position compensation value specified at (page 37). Display "FRONT" "REAR" "SW" Item Front speaker Rear speaker Subwoofer Range 0 - 440 cm 0 - 440 cm 0 - 440 cm ( : Factory setting) 1 Select the source Press the [SRC] button. Select a source other than "STDBY". 2 Enter Function setting mode Press the [VOL] knob. 3 Enter Car Type Adjustment mode Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the desired item is displayed. Select "Audio Control" > "Detailed Setup" > "Car Type Adjust". 4 Select the item you want to set Operation type Selects the item. Adjust each item. Set the value Operation Turn the [VOL] knob. Press the [4] or [¢] button. Press the [VOL] knob. The settings of the delay time are automatically identified and compensated by specifying the distances of each speaker from the center of the vehicle interior. 1 Set the front and rear positions and the height of the reference point to the position of the ears of the person sitting in the front seat, and set the right and left positions to the center of the vehicle interior. 2 Measure the distances from the reference point to the speakers. 3 Calculate the distance difference in accordance with the farthest speaker. 38 | DPX-U6120/ DPX-U5120/ DPX-MP3120 Reference point FRONT DN DN FRONT REAR DN REAR DN DN DN SUB-W 5 Exit Function setting mode Press the [ ] button for at least 1 second.
