AUTOMATIC REPEATER OFFSET (TH-K2AT/ E/ ET ONLY) This function automatically selects an offset direction, according to the frequency on the 2 m band. The transceiver is programmed for offset direction as shown below. To obtain an up-to-date band plan for repeater offset direction, contact your national Amateur Radio association. TH-K2E/ K2ET only 144.0 145.6 145.8 146.0 MHz S -S S: Simplex Note: Automatic Repeater Offset does not function when the Reverse function is ON {page 38}. However, pressing [F], [MENU] after Automatic Repeater Offset has selected an offset (split) status, exchanges the receive and transmit frequencies. 1 Press [MENU]. 2 Turn the Tuning control to select Menu No. 9 (ARO). 3 Press [MENU]. 4 Turn the Tuning control to switch the function "ON" (default) or "OFF". 5 Press [MENU] to store the setting or [PTT] to cancel. 37
