ELECTRIC KETTLE SAFETY 11. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. 12. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. 13. The Electric Kettle should only be used to heat water. 14. Do not use Electric Kettle without lid properly closed. 15. Do not use Electric Kettle with loose or weakened handle. 16. Do not clean Electric Kettle with cleaners, steel wool, or other abrasive materials. 17. Do not overfill kettle. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected. 18. This product is designed for indoor household use only. Not designed for commercial use. 19. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use. Do not touch hot surface. Use handles. 20. The appliance is only to be used with the base provided. 21. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section for instructions on cleaning the surfaces in contact with food. 22.
