The sensors are adaptive; they automatically adjust to the light and sound levels in the room to minimize energy consumption while maximizing your enjoyment. IMPORTANT: When you first plug in your digital frame, the activity sensors take about 24 hours to adjust to the typical light and sound levels in your home environment. During the first 24 hours, your digital frame may turn on and off at unexpected times. How do the adaptive sensors work? A default threshold of light and sound level is set at the factory. When the digital frame is turned on, it begins to measure the level of light and sound it sees and hears in the room.
