Chapter 1 Attaching the Wrist Strap 1 Thread the short loop of the strap through the wrist strap post. 2 Thread the long end of the strap through the short loop. Pull until secure. Loading the Batteries A KODAK CRV3 Lithium Battery, or equivalent, is included with your camera.* 1 Turn off the camera. 2 On the bottom of the camera, slide the battery door and lift to open. OPEN 3 Insert the CRV3 Lithium battery or 2, AA or batteries.* 4 Close the battery door. IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION For acceptable battery life and to make sure your camera operates dependably, do not use alkaline batteries. See page 85 for the types of batteries you can use in your camera. * If your camera was packaged with a KODAK EASYSHARE Camera Dock II, see page 52 for details on using the KODAK EASYSHARE Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery Pack. 4

Attaching the Wrist Strap

Thread the short loop of the strap through
the wrist strap post.

Thread the long end of the strap through the
short loop. Pull until secure.
Loading the Batteries
A KODAK CRV3 Lithium Battery, or equivalent, is included with your camera.*

the camera.

battery door and lift to open.
