When you turn on the camera, the lens is initially set to the wide-angle position. 1. Press the on/off button (19) to uncover the lens (7) and to turn on the camera. 2. Look through the viewfinder eyepiece (11) to see your subject. 3. Move the zoom dial (12) to to zoom closer to the subject in the telephoto mode or to to zoom away from the subject in the wideangle position.
