2-13 3. Control Panel Keys and Indicators When (Misfeed/Call-Tech.-Rep. Code) Lights up This indicates that a paper misfeed or malfunction has occurred in the system. Check the code shown on the Multi-Print Display and perform the misfeed clearing procedure or the CallTech.-Rep. procedure. Malfunctions Procedure Scanner Chapter 2 Code Description The Projection Lamp is burned out. Replace the lamp. ☞ See p. 2-41. * If the lamp goes out during a print cycle, a blank print may be output. The battery for Date Print has run down. Turn OFF the Date Print function, or call your Tech. Rep. for replacement of the battery. The power to the printer is OFF or there is a problem with the connection of the interface cable to the printer. Turn ON the printer or make sure that the interface cable is securely connected. The upper cover of the printer is not closed. Make sure that it is completely closed. The printer is out of paper. Load some paper into the paper cassette. ☞ See p. 3-5. The Scanner is connected to the PC and ready for scanning by pressing the Start Key. This display is blinking when the Scanner is in operation. The Scanner is not connected to the PC. Turn ON the PC or connect the Scanner to the PC with the interface cable.
