Specifying Default Copy Settings The default values are those applied when you press . The machine returns to the default settings if it is left without any operation for a designated period of time. Changing the default values of often-used functions can shorten the time required to adjust settings. Other settings are useful default settings. Note You can set the time it takes to return to the default settings. For details, refer to Chapter 1, "Specifying Default Settings" in the Administrator's Guide.
