4.1 Loading Envelopes in the Tray 4 4 4.1 Copy/Print Operation This section describes how to load envelopes in the tray with the parts for envelopes installed, and to copy/print onto those envelopes. Loading Envelopes in the Tray Envelopes with the following specifications can be loaded in the tray. Paper size Paper weight Tray capacity Unsuitable envelopes Min. 100 (W) e 135 (H) mm to max. 245 (W) e 375 (H) mm (Min. 3.92" (W) e 5.30" (H) to max. 9.63" (W) e 14.73" (H)) • Use auxiliary guides to load envelopes of 100 to 140 mm (3.92" to 5.50") in width. Envelopes of 121 to 134 mm (4.75" to 5.27") in width, however, cannot be loaded. 70 to 100 g/m2 (19 to 27 lb Bond) Paper tray: 150 sheets (tray 4 of Paper Feeder Unit PF-703) Output tray: 150 sheets (primary (main) tray of Finisher FS-532) Envelopes with a film window Envelopes with a double-stick tape or release coated paper on the flap d Reference For details on how to load paper in the tray, refer to Section 5 of [User's Guide - Copier]. 1 Pull out the tray. 2 Widen the side guides and rear guide. 3 Place envelopes with the print side up. % Align the envelopes to the left side of the tray with the flaps on the right. 4 Align the side guides and rear guide to the edge of the envelopes. NOTICE Please do not apply excessive force to the side guides when moving them. Loading Envelopes in the Tray
Envelopes with the following specifications can be loaded in the tray.

Pull out the tray.

Widen the side guides and rear guide.

Place envelopes with the print side up.

Align the envelopes to the left side of the tray with the
flaps on the right.

NOTICE
