Management Adding a User This adds a new user. You can add Up to 1,000 users (including the default login user name). The table below explains the user information to be registered. Item Description User Name* Login User Name* Login Password* Access Level* Account Name E-mail Address Enter the name displayed on the user list (up to 32 characters). Enter the login user name to login (up to 64 characters). The same login user name cannot be registered. Enter the password to login (up to 64 characters). Select Administrator or User for user access privileges. Add an account where the user belongs. The user, who registered his/her account name, can login without entering the account ID. Refer to Job Accounting on page 11-14. The user can register his/her E-mail address. The registered address will be automatically selected for subsequent operations that need any E-mail function. * Mandatory at user registration. NOTE: By default, one of each default user with machine administrator rights and administrator privileges is already stored. Each user's properties are: Machine Administrator User Name: DeviceAdmin Login User Name: 25/25 ppm model : 2500, 30/30 ppm model : 3000, 40/40 ppm model : 4000, 50/40 ppm model : 5000, 55/50 ppm model : 5500 Login Password: 25/25 ppm model : 2500, 30/30 ppm model : 3000, 40/40 ppm model : 4000, 50/40 ppm model : 5000, 55/50 ppm model : 5500 Access Level: Machine Administrator Administrator 11 User Name: Admin Login User Name: Admin Login Password: Admin Access Level: Administrator It is recommended to periodically change the user name, login user name and login password regularly for your security. Use the procedure below to register a new user. 1 Login as a user with administrator rights. 2 Press the System Menu key. 3 Press [User Login/Job Accounting]. 4 If user login administration is disabled, the user authentication screen appears. Enter your login user name and password and then press [Login]. For this, you need to login with administrator 11-5
