Supported devices PCL Barcode Flash and KYOmulticode solutions are available on Compact Flash (CF) card and Secure Digital (SD) card media. CF card solution: Type A = For KYOCERA devices with classic application programming interface. Most pre-2007 printers and multifunction devices (FS- and KMseries, few TASKalfa models), two ECOSYS printers launched in 01/2014. Type B/C = For KYOCERA devices with advanced application programming interface. Many post-2007 printers and multifunction devices (FS- and KMseries, most TASKalfa models). Type A and Type B/C CF cards differ in file structure and version specific files, but can be converted into each other format (on request, KYOCERA Professional Services). Each card available as Type A and Type B/C version. SD card solution: Type D = Introduced to distinguish CF card solutions from SD card solutions. All KYOCERA devices with SD card slot share the same advanced application programming interface (some FS-series printers, latest TASKalfa devices, nearly all ECOSYS devices).
