INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION CONNECTION OPTION This is the back panel of models 42PC1R*, 50PC1R*, 50PC3R* TVs. Back Connection Panel AUDIO Input AV IN 2 Connections are available for listening stereo sound from an external device. R AUDIO VIDEO Input L/MONO Connects the video signal from a video VIDEO device. 1 2 3 4 5 REMOTE CONTROL IN RGB IN RGB (PC/DTV) AUDIO (RGB/DVI) AV OUT HDMI/DVI IN RS-232C IN (CONTROL & SERVICE) AV IN 1 S-VIDEO VIDEO (MONO) AUDIO VARIABLE AUDIO OUT COMPONENT IN 2 VIDEO 1 AUDIO ANTENNA IN 6 7 8 9 10 11 AC IN 1 Remote Control Port 2 RGB/Audio Input Connect the monitor output from a PC/DTV to the appropriate input port. 3 AV OUT Connect the second TV or monitor to the AV OUT socket on the set. 4 Variable Audio Output Connect an external amplifier or add a sub woofer to your surround sound system. 5 Power Cord Socket This the set operates on an AC power. The voltage is indicated on the Specifications page. Never attempt to operate the set on DC power. 6 HDMI/DVI Input Connect a HDMI signal to HDMI/DVI IN. Connect DVI(VIDEO) signal to HDMI/DVI port with DVI to HDMI cable. 7 RS-232C Input(CONTROL&SERVICE)Port Connect the serial port of the control devices to the RS-232C jack. 8 S-Video Input Connect S-Video out from an S-VIDEO device. 9 Audio/Video Input Connect audio/video output from an external device to these jacks. 10 Component Input Connect a component video/audio device to these jacks. 11 Antenna Input 6

VIDEO Input

Remote Control Port
RGB/Audio Input
Connect the monitor output from a PC/DTV to
the appropriate input port.

Connect the second TV or monitor to the
AV OUT socket on the set.
Variable Audio Output
Connect an external amplifier or add a sub

Power Cord Socket
This the set operates on an AC power. The volt-

Never attempt to operate the set on DC power.
HDMI/DVI Input
Connect a HDMI signal to HDMI/DVI IN.
Connect DVI(VIDEO) signal to HDMI/DVI port
with DVI to HDMI cable.
RS-232C Input
