ENGLISH 36 [Aspect Ratio] The screen size can be adjusted to the set ratio. • [16:9]: Sets the screen size to 16:9. • [4:3]: Sets the screen size to 4:3. • [14:9]: Sets the screen size to 14:9. • [13:9]: Sets the screen size to 13:9. • [1.85:1]: Sets the screen size to 1.85:1. • [2.35:1]: Sets the screen size to 2.35:1. NOTE •• Screen Size can be adjusted sequentially by registering Screen Size values to the Function keys and GPI settings. •• [Aspect Ratio] and [AFD] cannot be used when [Scan] is set to [Pixel to Pixel]. •• This feature is not available when running [HDR/SDR Monitoring] / [Internal Pattern] / [PBP]. •• When using [PIP], this feature applies only to the main screen. [AFD] ( Active Format Description) • This feature allows the screen ratio to be adjusted based on information from the input source. If the input source does not have any screen ratio information, the screen ratio is adjusted according to the screen size settings selected by the user. NOTE •• Action by input signal -- HDMI: Adjusts the screen ratio based on the image resolution. -- SDI: Adjusts the screen ratio based on the screen size information from the SDI signal's Video Payload ID (VPID). -- Actions connected to other features: If [Scan] is set to [Under Scan], the screen ratio is adjusted within the shrunken area. If [Scan] is set to [Pixel to Pixel], no screen ratio adjustment is made according to the [Aspect Ratio] or [AFD].

[Aspect Ratio]
The screen size can be adjusted to the set ratio.
[16:9]: Sets the screen size to 16:9.
[4:3]: Sets the screen size to 4:3.
[14:9]: Sets the screen size to 14:9.
[13:9]: Sets the screen size to 13:9.
[1.85:1]: Sets the screen size to 1.85:1.

NOTE
Screen Size can be adjusted sequentially by registering Screen Size values to the Function keys and GPI settings.
[Aspect Ratio] and [AFD] cannot be used when [Scan] is set to [Pixel to Pixel].
This feature is not available when running [HDR/SDR Monitoring] / [Internal Pattern] / [PBP].

[AFD] ( Active Format Description)
This feature allows the screen ratio to be adjusted based on information from the input source. If the input source
does not have any screen ratio information, the screen ratio is adjusted according to the screen size settings selected
by the user.
NOTE
Action by input signal

HDMI: Adjusts the screen ratio based on the image resolution.

SDI: Adjusts the screen ratio based on the screen size information from the SDI signal’s Video Payload ID (VPID).
