The concentration of particulates can be checked using the Puricare Mini app. NOTE • If the concentration of particulates stays high even after moving the product to a different area, bring the product in to a service center to have the particulate sensor cleaned. Overall Air Quality Concentration of Particulates (μg/m3) Color State PM1.0 PM10 PM2.5 (particulates (coarse (fine with a diameter particulates) particulates) between 1.0 and 2.5 µm) Red Poor 255 or more 56 or more 56 or more Orange Unhealthy 155-254 36-55 36-55 Yellow Moderate 55-154 13-35 13-35 Green Good 54 or less 12 or less 12 or less Monitoring Air Quality Use the Puricare Mini app to select when the particulate sensor operates. - Turns On with Product - Always On: Monitors the air quality even when the product is in standby mode. NOTE • The concentration of particulates could be affected by cooking or using humidifiers, sprays or other products which generate steam or fine particles. • Even two products placed in the same space could measure the concentration of particulates differently due to air circulation. • The concentration of particulates displayed may change with environmental factors such as the presence of sofas, beds, carpets, vacuum cleaners, humidity, smoke, bugs, pets or cooking oils. • The PM concentration may be affected by changes in the outside environment such as construction, heavy traffic or pollen. • The concentration of particulates could be higher near outside doors, windows, vents or in areas where outside air enters. Outside airflow near the particulate sensor might interrupt normal operation of the sensor and cause the PM level shown to be different than the actual PM level. • The battery runtime may be greatly reduced when the air quality monitoring is running. • PM (particulate matter) concentration is displayed in increments of 1 unit, from 8 to 999. PM concentration values are based on the data sheet provided by the sensor manufacturer. • The PM concentration measurement was tested using LG Electronics' standard test materials.
