Settings • Voice tags are sensitive to background noise. Record them and make calls in a quiet environment. • When recording a voice tag or making a call by using a voice tag, the loudspeaker is in use. Hold the phone at a short distance away from your mouth and face so that the proximity sensor does not turn the loudspeaker off. • Very short names are not accepted. Use long names and avoid similar names for different numbers. n Note You must say the name exactly as you said when you recorded it. This may be difficult in, for example, a noisy environment or during an emergency, so you should not rely solely upon voice dialing in all circumstances. Auto Redial (Menu 9.4.7) Select On, and your phone will make a maximum of three attempts to connect the call after an unsuccessful call attempt. * TTY (Menu 9.4.8) - Not Support The majority of users are Deaf, but commonly, a TTY is also used by Hard of Hearing, Speech Impaired, and even Deaf and Blind individuals. When you use a TTY, only one person can type at a time, and you should not interrupt the other. Keep your sentences short and right to the point. If at all possible, have a printer to facilitate your life. Try to avoid asking too many questions at once. n Note Use only PN421-003402 cable. TTY users must have a TTY/TDD device.
