4 Getting Started Getting Started IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1 1. Read these instructions. 2. Keep these instructions. Precautions on handling a battery yy This unit has a built-in valve regulated lead-acid rechargeable battery. (12 V/7.0 Ah) yy Do not use the battery in a closed room or near fire. 3. Heed all warnings. yy Charge the battery under the charging condition 4. Follow all instructions. 5. Do not use this apparatus near water. 6. Clean only with dry cloth. specified. yy If any corrosion of the terminals, leakage or deformation of the case of the battery is found, do not use the battery. 7.
