Text Messaging When you need to communicate privately and quickly, use text messaging. You can send text messages to other wireless phones and email addresses. 1. With the phone rotated horizontally and the slide open, press the Key on the QWERTY keyboard to begin composing a text message. 2. Use the QWERTY keyboard to enter your message. You can press the Left Soft Key for Insert to include symbols, pictures, template text, and more. 3. Press the Key for Send to. 4. You can enter in a phone number or email address. For this demonstration, press the Key to access your contact list. 5. Scroll with the Navigation Keys to highlight your recipient, and then press the Key for Insert. 6. Press the Left Soft Key for Send.
