ENGLISH MAINTENANCE Surface Maintenance Clean periodically with hot soapy water and a clean cotton cloth. Do not use corrosive or abrasive detergent, or steel wool/scouring pads which will scratch and damage surface. Do not use products containing chlorine bleach or citrus-based cleaners. For heavier soil use liquid degreaser. After cleaning, you may use non-abrasive stainless steel polish or cleaners to polish and buff out the stainless luster and grain. Using a clean microfiber or cotton cloth, scrub lightly and with the grain. MAINTENANCE 11 Removing Mesh Filters 1 Push handle on filter toward back of range hood. Aluminum Mesh Filters The aluminum mesh filters installed by the factory are intended to filter out residue and grease from cooking. They don't need to be replaced on a regular basis, as long as they are kept clean. Remove and clean by hand or in dishwasher on low heat. Spray degreasing detergent and leave to soak if heavily soiled. Dry filters and re-install before using hood. 2 Pivot the front of the filter down and pull the filter forward to remove it. •• Follow these steps in reverse to reassemble the filter.
