Limited Warranty Subject to the conditions of this Limited Warranty, LG Electronics warrants this product to be free from defects in design, material and workmanship at the time of its original purchase by a consumer, and for a subsequent period of one (1) year. Should your product need warranty service, please return it to the dealer from whom it was purchased or contact your local LG Electronics contact center to get further information. Important safety information Avoiding hearing damage Permanent hearing loss may occur if you use your headset(Hands-free car kit) at a high volume. Set the volume to a safe level. Over time you can become accustomed to a higher volume that may sound normal but can be damaging to your hearing. If you experience ringing in your ears or muffled speech, stop listening and have your hearing checked. The louder the volume, the less time is required before your hearing could be affected. Hearing experts suggest that to protect your hearing: •Limit the amount of time you use the headset(Hands-free car kit) at high volume. •Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings. •Turn the volume down if you can't hear people speaking near you. For information about how to set a maximum volume limit on your handset (Handsfree car kit), please refer to the features guide for your handset. Using headsets(Hands-free car kit) safely Use of headsets(Hands-free car kit) to listen to music while operating a vehicle is not recommended and is illegal in some areas. Be careful and attentive whilst driving. Stop using this device if you find it disruptive or distracting whilst operating any type of vehicle or performing any other activity that requires your full attention. Never let your use of this HFB-500 Hands-Free Car kit, or use of a device cradled within the HFB-500 Hands-Free Car kit, divert your attention in any way from the safe operation of your vehicle. Always observe safe driving rules and obey all traffic laws. All adjustments to or repositioning of the HFB-500 Hands-Free Car kit or any device cradled within the HFB-500 Hands-Free Car kit should be done when the vehicle is safely parked or stopped. When installing the unit in a vehicle, make sure the unit is secure and does not obstruct the driver's view of the road or interfere with vehicle operating controls. Do not mount this product near or over an airbag cover panel within an airbag deployment zone. In some states certain operations of devices capable of use with this unit, including video functionality, while driving is illegal. In addition, some states prohibit or restrict the manner in which drivers may suction mount devices to their windshields.
