REPLACING LIGHT BULBS wWARNING Electrical Shock Hazard • Before replacing a burned-out light bulb, either unplug the refrigerator or turn off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse box. To Change the Refrigerator Light Bulbs NOTE: Moving the control to the OFF position does not remove power to the light circuit. NOTE: Not all appliance bulbs will fit your refrigerator. Be sure to replace the bulb with one of the same size, shape, and wattage. 1 To remove the lamp cover, remove the top shelf or shelves. Use a flat instrument to gently pry the lamp cover loose in the front. To Change the Freezer Light Bulb 2 Rotate the lamp cover downward to remove the rear tabs. Make sure bulbs are cool. Turn the bulbs counterclockwise to remove. Insert new bulbs. Assemble in reverse order by engaging the rear tabs of the lamp cover first, followed by the front tabs. 1 Use a flat instrument to gently pry the lamp cover loose in the front. NOTE: It may be necessary to remove the top rack to provide access to the lamp cover. 30 2 Rotate the lamp cover downward to remove the rear tabs. Make sure the bulb is cool. Turn the bulb counterclockwise to remove. Replace with a new 60-watt appliance bulb. Insert tabs on the back of the cover into the slots in the freezer ceiling. Push the cover upward to snap the front into place.

To Change the Refrigerator Light Bulbs
To remove the lamp cover, remove the top
shelf or shelves. Use a flat instrument to
gently pry the lamp cover loose in the front.

Rotate the lamp cover downward to remove
the rear tabs. Make sure bulbs are cool.
Turn the bulbs counterclockwise to remove.
Insert new bulbs. Assemble in reverse order
