Look at the right side of the control panel to see if the lock is engaged. Press and hold the lock button on the control panel until there is a "ding" sound. Try to dispense again. Once unlocked, the dispenser should dispense ice. • The dispenser can be set for ice or water. Make certain that the control panel is set for the proper operation. Press the dispenser button on the control panel to cycle through the ice and water options. Once it is selected on ice, it will dispense ice. If on water, it will dispense water. • Infrequent use of the ice dispenser will cause the cubes to stick together over time, which will prevent them from properly dispensing. Check the ice bin for ice cubes clumping/sticking together. If they are, break up the ice cubes by removing the bin and breaking them up or shaking the bin to separate them. • Sure the ice bin is firmly in position. • Wait 24 hours after ice maker installation for ice production to begin. Wait 72 hours for full ice production. • Use a plastic utensil to clear the delivery chute. • Use only cubes produced by the current ice maker. • Change the ice button from "crushed" to "cubed". If cubed ice dispenses correctly, depress the button for "crushed" ice and begin dispensing again. Dispense hot water • New installation. • Water dispenser has been used continuously within the last 5~8 hours. • Recently large amount of water was dispensed. • Refrigerator is not connected to cold water pipe. • Allow 24 hours after installation for the water supply to cool completely. • The unit has its own water tank inside. Water storage capacity of the water tank is about two cups of cold water that will be dispensed. While the cool water is being dispensed, the tap water comes into water tank and is reserved. At least 6 hours are needed for cooling the tap water again. • Allow 24 hours for water supply to cool completely. • Make sure the refrigerator is connected to a cold water pipe. 45

the cool water is being dispensed, the tap water
comes into water tank and is reserved. At least
6 hours are needed for cooling the tap water
again.
• Allow 24 hours for water supply to cool
completely.
