Connecting devices When Installing the antenna inside the vehicle (on the dashboard or shelf) Affix the external GPS antenna on as level a surface as possible where the external GPS antenna faces outside the window. (The GPS antenna is fastened with a double-sided tape.) • Make sure the surface is free of moisture, dust, grime, oil, etc., before affixing the sheet. • The double-sided tape contains a strong adhesive and may leave a mark on the dashboard if removed. • Some vehicles use window glass that does not allow signals from GPS satellites to pass through.
