TROUBLESHOOTING BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE Problem Convection fan not working (convection models) Possible Causes • Preheat temperature not reached. • Operates opposite the heating cycle. Solutions • Fan will start automatically once the preheat temperature is reached. • This is normal. Drawer does not slide • The drawer is out of alignment. smoothly or drags • Fully extend the drawer and push it all the way in. See the Care and Cleaning of the Range section. • Drawer is over-loaded or load is unbalanced. • Reduce weight. Redistribute drawer contents. Warming drawer will not work • A fuse in your home may be blown or the circuit breaker tripped. • The oven is self-cleaning. • Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. • Wait for the self-clean cycle to finish and the oven to cool. • Controls improperly set. • See the Using the Electric Warming Drawer section. Excessive condensation in the drawer • Liquid in drawer. • Uncovered foods. • Remove liquid. • Cover food with lid or aluminum foil. • Temperature setting too high. • Reduce temperature setting. Food dries out in warming drawer • Moisture escaping. • Drawer not fully closed. • Cover food with lid or aluminum foil. • Push drawer in until latch engages. 48
