Problem Oven not clean after a self clean cycle DOOR LOCKED icon are on when you want to cook Burning or oily odor emitting from the vent Cooling fan continues to run after oven is turned off Possible Causes / Solutions • Oven controls not properly set. - See the self-clean section, page 27~29. • Oven was heavily soiled. - Clean up heavy spillovers before starting the clean cycle. Heavily soiled ovens may need to self-clean again or for a longer period of time. • The oven door is locked because the temperature inside the oven has not dropped below the locking temperature. - Press the CLEAR OFF pad. Allow the oven to cool. • This is normal in a new oven and will disappear in time. - To speed the process, set a self-clean cycle for a minimum of 3 hours. See the self-clean section, page 27~29. • The fan turns off automatically when the electronic components have cooled sufficiently. - This is normal. Warm air venting into kitchen after oven has been turned off. • Warm air exhaust is needed to maintain and cool down oven temperatures. It turns off automatically when the heat cools to a safe temperature. - This is normal. 35
