The tuner will scan automatically and stop when it finds a radio station. Delete all the saved stations Press and hold x ENTER on the remote control for two seconds. "ERASE" shows. Press x ENTER on the remote control to erase all the saved stations. Choose a 'preset number' for a radio station Select a station you want by pressing ./>. Press x ENTER, the station flashes. Press FOLDER•PRESET on the remote control to select the preset number you want. Press x ENTER to save it. To improve poor FM reception Press MO./ST. on the player. This will change the tuner to mono and usually improve the reception. Make sure antenna is connected securely. HD Radio Reception Digital HD Radio broadcasting offers higher sound quality than analog radio. On it, you can select additional digital information and listen to FM with the same quality as that of CD, FM with the same quality as that of AM, and various kinds of programs. Any other signal interruption that was produced on analog AM and FM is absent. When toggling S.MODE on the remote control on TUNER mode, the mode is changed into SEEK (seek mode) and HD SEEK (HD seek mode) repeatedly. • SEEK : searches frequencies for alalog & digital broadcasting • HD SEEK : searches frequencies for digital broadcasting When searching channels with ./> for longer than 1 second, both analog and digital broadcasting signals are searched. The signal is changed in the following order; analog -> digital. When digital signals are detected, "HD" indicator is turned on.
