Settings 3. Security The Security menu allows you to secure the phone electronically. 3.1 Lock Phone Keeps your phone from unauthorized use. Once the phone is locked, it is in restricted mode until the Lock Code is entered. You can still receive phone calls and make emergency calls. You can modify the Lock Code in the Change Lock Code sub-menu of the Security menu. 1. Press , , . 2. Enter the four-digit Lock Code. The default Lock Code is usually the last 4 digits of your phone number. 3. Press Lock Phone. 4. Use to highlight an option, then press . Unlock The phone remains unlocked by default, until it is locked manually. Lock Locks the phone. When locked, you can receive incoming calls and make calls only to Emergency Numbers ( Menu > Settings > Security > Enter the four-digit Lock Code > Emergency Numbers). On Power Up The phone is locked when it is turned on. 3.2 Restrictions Allows you to set restrictions for Calls, SMS Messages, MMS Messages, IP Connection. 1. Press , , . 2. Enter the four-digit Lock Code. 3. Press Restrictions. 4. Use to highlight Calls/ SMS Messages/ MMS Messages/ IP Connections, then press . 5. Choose a submenu and the type of restriction and press to set. 6. Enter the four-digit Service Lock Code. Note You can receive the incoming calls from saved contacts on your phone when Contacts Only is on. Settings 59
